The short version

Car Spa LK does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics of any kind. Our website is essentially cookie-free. The only thing stored in your browser is your shopping cart, and that stays on your own device.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that many websites save in your browser to remember things about you, and sometimes to track you across the internet for advertising. Lots of sites use them. We don't.

What we actually use

The only browser storage carspa.lk uses is something called localStorage, and only for one job: remembering the items in your shopping cart.

• Your cart contents are saved in your own browser, on your own device.
• This information is never sent to our server. We cannot see what is in your cart until you choose to place your order through WhatsApp.
• It simply makes shopping easier, so your cart is still there if you close the page and come back later.

Beyond that, your browser may handle standard technical necessities needed for any website to load and work properly. Nothing about you is collected, profiled or shared.

What we do not use

• No tracking cookies
• No advertising or marketing cookies
• No analytics tools watching how you browse
• No third-party trackers or social media pixels
• No user accounts or login sessions, because our site has no accounts at all

How to clear your cart storage

Since your cart lives in your own browser, you are always in control of it. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings:

• On Chrome: go to Settings, then Privacy and security, then Delete browsing data, and choose "Cookies and other site data".
• On Safari, Firefox, Edge and other browsers: look for "Clear browsing data" or "Manage website data" in the settings or privacy section.

Clearing this data will empty your Car Spa LK cart, and that is the only effect it will have. You can also just remove items from the cart on the website itself.

If this ever changes

If we add new features to the website in the future that need cookies or other storage, we will update this policy first and explain clearly what is used and why. Any changes will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
